Why Recruit at BU?
BU students are pretty great. Here are just a few reasons why recruiting at BU is a smart choice.

BU by the Numbers
BU has more than 300 programs of study, including top-ranked programs in STEM and data science. The student body has 18,805 undergraduates and 18,932 graduate/professional students. There are more than 400 student organizations, and students have completed more than 1.6 million hours of community service.

High Internship Rates
BU is above the national average (60%) for undergraduate students completing at least one internship or other hands-on experience before graduation. While the rate varies with each graduating class, it has remained above 84% since 2017, with several class years reaching 90% or higher.

Global Employability
BU alumni are ranked as highly employable internationally (Times Higher Education Survey). At BU, global fluency has many sources: 22% of students come from 128 countries. Undergraduates currently study abroad in 170 programs in 20+ countries, many more than once. BU curricula educate students to learn and lead globally.
Useful Details
Employers can connect with students through a variety of recruiting options, including career fairs, on-campus interviews, information sessions, and job postings on our career platform. These opportunities help organizations engage with talented students across all fields of study.
Our recruiting policies ensure a fair and professional process for all students and employers, outlining expectations for job postings, interviews, offers, and conduct. These guidelines help protect students’ time, support informed career choices, and foster positive employer relationships.
Our Recruiting FAQs answer common employer questions about posting jobs, registering for career fairs, scheduling interviews, and understanding our campus recruiting policies. This resource makes it easy for employers to navigate our recruiting process and connect with students effectively.
The CCD is located on the western edge of Boston’s Kenmore Square. We recommend public transit, if possible, as parking spots can be hard to find.
BU runs on the semester system, with two additional sessions during the summer. Most students are on campus from September to May, with a break in December and January.
Some BU schools and colleges also have a career office that hosts industry-specific career events and supports targeted recruiting.
BU has 17 schools and colleges, plus the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences.
