Job Title: E-commerce Analytics Intern
About the Role
Erthe is a Los Angeles-based premium golf fashion e-commerce platform curating designer golf brands from around the world. Think Net-a-Porter meets the golf course. We are data-driven, design-obsessed, and growing fast. We are looking for an E-commerce Data Analytics Intern to help us build the data backbone of our growing fashion platform business. You will own the full analytics stack for merchandising and operations – from raw data pipelines to the dashboards and scoring systems that drive day-to-day decisions on what we buy, how we price, and how we grow. This is a hands-on role with visibility into real P&L drivers and direct collaboration with founders and the merchandising team.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain internal product data matrix/dahsboards that aggregate sell-through, margin, returns, reviews, and competitor signals into one source of truth
- Track and report product-level performance: conversion rate, add-to-cart, sell-through, full-price vs. markdown mix, and contribution margin by SKU, category, and collection
- Design and iterate on a product scoring system that ranks SKUs by commercial health and informs reorder, markdown, and discontinuation decisions
- Build an Automation pipeline and dashboards that cover stockouts, size breaks, cart abandonment, failed checkouts, and site search misses, with clear dollar impact and recommended actions
- Partner with buying, marketing, and CX to scope and deliver ad-hoc analytics: promo performance, cohort/LTV, channel attribution, inventory aging, returns root cause, etc.
- Translate messy, cross-platform data (Shopify, GA4, ad platforms, 3PL, CRM) into clean, trustworthy metrics the whole team can use
What We Are Looking For
- Current undergrad or graduate student in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, CS, Information Systems, Math, or a related field
- Strong SQL and Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable building dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar
- Python or R for data manipulation is a strong plus
- Experience or strong interest in ecommerce, retail, or fashion; bonus for prior exposure to Shopify, GA4, or ad platform data
- Structured thinker who can turn an ambiguous business question into a concrete metric and a shippable report
- High ownership, comfortable working directly with founders, and fluent communicator in English (Mandarin a plus)
Why Join
- Real ownership of the analytics function at an early-stage, founder-led fashion brand
- Direct mentorship from the founder and team members with tech, analytics, and luxury retail backgrounds
- Portfolio-worthy projects: you will ship dashboards and scoring systems that are actually used to run the business
