Please submit your reservation request through the CCD Room Reservation Form

Requests are reviewed within two to four business days during Spring and Fall. Review time for summer requests are updated each summer in the CCD Room Reservation Form. You will receive an email notification from Airtable to acknowledge if your reservation has been confirmed or declined.

  • Rooms at 100 Bay State Road are unfurnished. A Facilities Service Request (FSR) must be submitted in advance for event setup and cleanup. Requestors should complete the FSR to arrange the room setup. See the FAQs below for details.
  • Room requestors must arrange catering and table linens through Catering on the Charles and ensure all catering items are picked up after the event.
  • The reservation request for room 613A/B does not include the lobby/atrium. If you would like to also reserve the lobby space, please leave a note in your room reservation request.

Can external groups, not sponsored by BU use the space for events?

  • No. Student groups looking to reserve space must have a faculty or staff member place a request through the Airtable request form. Departments, faculty, or staff partnering with student groups on events held at the CCD are designated as the responsible party and a faculty/staff member from the requesting unit must be present throughout the entirety of the event involving student groups. The requesting department, faculty, or staff are responsible for ensuring FSRs and ISRs are submitted, and for communicating all event logistics to Custodial Services and other Internal Service Providers.

What is the first step for a BU department to request the event space?

  • Complete the Room Reservation Form. Be sure to include the exact timeframe of the event itself. Setup and breakdown time should be added separately in each request. We recommend at least one hour for additional set-up and breakdown time for each event. We will review requests and attempt to respond within 2–4 business days.

How far in advance can the space be reserved?

  • We ask that general reservation requests not be submitted more than 3 months in advance. Please contact future@bu.edu with any questions. Please note reservation priority is given to the Center for Career Development programs and services.

Who sets up the event space and how do they know which furniture to use?

  • Once you submit an FSR, BU Facilities will assist you with your room setup needs.

Your FSR must include the following information:

  • Event start and end times
  • Space layout specifications: attach a diagram and notes on variation from the diagram. A diagram is required. You can download layout diagrams to include in your request.
  • Furniture type and quantity specifications
  • Request additional custodial services

Our event needs food. Who do we order food services from?

Where can I request audio/visual support?

Will my guests be able to access 100 Bay State Road?

  • The access schedule for 100 Bay State Road reflects typical operations during the fall and spring semesters. Intersession and summer building schedules may differ. To ensure access to the 1st or 6th floor, please email future@bu.edu to confirm your event’s start and end times.
