Bianca Cadet (Sargent’29) is originally from Nassau, The Bahamas, and is part of Sargent College’s 6-year Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program. At CCD, she is a Student Desk Assistant driven by her dedication to improving access and helping students connect with essential resources. Outside of CCD, she is an Innovate@BU ambassador, an active member of the Admissions Student Diversity Board, and a volunteer at local community service events. She aims to keep an inclusive, welcoming environment for all students across BU.

Carolina Rivas is from Houston, Texas. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in political science and minoring in psychology. She hopes to continue her studies in law. You will see her with her friends, reading, sipping coffee, working out at the gym, or studying. She is a proud first-generation student who is passionate about supporting students at BU.

Dorothy Lolagne is an aspiring television writer pursuing her MFA in Screenwriting at BU. She grew up in Orlando, Florida where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing at the University of Central Florida. As a graduate assistant with the student engagement team and supporting the Career Ambassador Program at the CCD, she brings her previous experience as a writing tutor for a university writing center and years of professional experience in higher education working in operations, admissions, and degree completion. In her free time, Outside of writing, Dorothy enjoys reading, watching television and film, music, dance, and walking alongside the beach during sunsets in South Florida.

Elizabeth Zhan is from Lowell, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering and is a student in the Kilachand Honors College. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cafes to try different matchas, visiting local bookstores, reading, playing video games, and picking up new hobbies like journaling or crafting.

I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but I moved to New York when I was 12. I am majoring in Business Administration, and I would like to help other students adapt better to college by providing more career development resources and support. In my free time, I enjoy trying out new restaurants and desserts with my friends, I like to photograph and make videos, I like to watch movies and read books.

Joynn is currently a second-year student pursing her B.S. degree in Data Science. She grew up in mainland China and moved to Guam when she was 12. She is passionate about Data Analytics and modeling that brings compassionate values and oversee business decision-making. As an aspiring Data Analyst, she enjoys participating in analytical projects and reading industry related blogs curated to her studies. On campus, she is involved with Boston University Girls Who Code and Women in Data Science. In her free time, she enjoys fashion, city-walking, Formula 1, read & watch thriller/mystery, and traveling!

Juliette Peng is a rising junior from Belmont, Massachusetts, pursuing a dual degree in Data Science and Economics through Boston University’s Dual Degree Program. She is passionate about education and empowering underrepresented communities through mentorship and outreach. On campus, Juliette serves as a student fellow for the BU x Avanade STEM Mentorship Program, the Volunteer and Outreach Director for Alzheimer’s Buddies, and has worked as a case analyst for BizTech. In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts, exploring new restaurants, and going on spontaneous trips. Juliette is excited to continue expanding her involvement in student life at BU!

Lylah is a third-year student at Boston University majoring in Political Science and Philosophy, with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Originally from Hyderabad, India, she brings a global perspective to her academic pursuits, with a strong interest in international affairs, law, and business. Her coursework emphasizes the intersection of law, ethics, and entrepreneurship, reflecting her passion for equitable innovation and inclusive policy development.

On campus, Lylah is actively involved in Boston University’s Lightweight Rowing team, Delta Phi Epsilon International Relations Fraternity, and the South Asian Student Association. Through these roles, she cultivates leadership, collaboration, and cross-cultural engagement, complementing her academic focus with real-world experience in teamwork and global dialogue. She has been with the Center of Career Development since Spring 2024, and hopes to continue supporting the BU student body feel confident with approaching their professional lives during undergraduate and post-graduation.

I am from Greenville, SC, but grew up close to D.C. I am studying at SHA, a part of the B.S program in Hospitality and Communications. I love to read, post on my book blog, journal, and catch up on 2000s TV shows. On campus, I am also a part of BU Fashion and Retail, BU PRSSA, and Omega Phi Alpha.

Mia Keazer is an M.S. Public Relations student at Boston University, originally from New Hampshire. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks around Boston (usually with an iced matcha and resulting in buying either too many books or clothes or both), reading, writing, and traveling (ask her for London recs!). Following graduation, she looks forward to pursuing a career in public relations, with a focus on social media.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, I enjoy exploring the city of Boston — whether it’s discovering the best local coffee shops or trying new restaurants on the weekends. Outside the classroom, I love spending time outdoors, where you can also find me on the Charles River, as part of the BU Women’s Rowing Team.

Hello! My name is Peishi Liu student studying in Questrom, concentrating in Law. On campus, I am part of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity serving the greater Boston area, and an advocate for holistic health through Student Wellbeing. Outside of academics, I enjoy some light retail therapy and gardening.

I’m an international student from Abu Dhabi, UAE, so I understand firsthand the career struggles of international students and I’m excited to be a career resource for everybody at BU! I love reading, going cycling and taking aesthetic pictures, and watching sitcoms.

In their free time, they enjoy birding, visiting beaches, finding new cafes, watching movies (especially bad 90s), and collecting trinkets.

Yihan Yang is an aspiring business student concentrating in Marketing and Accounting. Originally from China Nanjing and raised in Indiana, Yihan has embraced diverse cultures and experiences, having lived with families of different backgrounds. Yihan is the marketing chair for Student Alumni Association. She is also a member of BU badminton team. Outside of school, she enjoys trying all kinds of fun activities and food in Boston.
